We had a really pleasant experience! I can't express how kind, helpful and patient the staff was, especially our guide Milan. The cliff jumps were thrilling, but also we felt completely safe, our guide always provided clear instructions. Not to mention the beautiful scenery throughout the whole trip. After booking, you receive clear and helpful instructions, and at the agreed time we were warmly welcomed. There was plenty of time to ask questions, and the team has everything you need: knowledge, great gear, and a good sense of humor to get you safely and comfortably out on the water.
The Tomcat tandem kayaks are excellent quality and as a service you don’t have to carry them yourselves. They’ve got a cool ramp that gets you onto the water in a really fun way, giving you an instant dose of some adrenaline. During the trip, we enjoyed beautiful little waterfalls and cascades, with plenty of opportunities to jump into the refreshing water from different heights that suit everyone.
You really don’t have to worry about anything. Just follow the guide’s instructions, and if something doesn’t work for you, he is always right there to help you.
It’s a fantastic combination of an easy and enjoyable kayaking trip with just the right amount of adventure and adrenaline. Highly recommended, especially for families with kids!

10/10 experience! We took our whole family kayaking with Discover Mrežnica and it was unforgettable. I was pretty scared at first, but our guides, Ivana and Ogi, were absolutely amazing. Ogi is an exceptional guide—professional, hilarious, and so calming. He made sure our entire family had a blast. Beautiful location, great equipment, and wonderful staff. What can I say except that the Discover Mrežnica - Kayaking team gave us an unforgettable experience and a wonderful family trip! Exelent experience! Our boat was much better than we saw from the other company, looking more safe, we were 4 boats for 1 guide, so it was well organised, I was scared (30 years old) but little kid and my mum were not scared at all. But in the end I was jumping from 5meters and I was very happy.

I recommend it! You go with a guide (the guy we had was really nice! He explained everything to us in English, and with our basic English, he was very patient until we understood. He also kept an eye on us the whole time). It was very fun. We'd never kayaked before, and we loved it! They gave us directions, and we couldn't get lost. If we ever go back, we'll definitely come back!

We can highly recommend this agency! Communication with Ivana was easy and fast and Alex our guide was a super nice guy. Facility on the river side was really nice and all the gear (wetsuit, water shoes etc) in perfect condition. And the tour was absolutely fantastic, beautiful scenery and so much fun going down the waterfalls in the kayak. And the 7m jump from the highest waterfall was an amazing experience! Kids (10, 12, 14) loved every minute of the 2 hour tour!

This rafting company is absolutely the best! It is located right at the start of the launch (where all the other competitors shuttle in their kayakers and then have to haul the heavy kayak down to water- see photo). Our kayaks were already down by launch waiting for us. Alexander, our guide, was super nice and fun. This trip was our highlight of trip to Croatia! If you have your own transportation this is definitely the company you should choose. (The cliff jump is optional, but highly recommend!)

I loved the every bit of it. It was my first time and I was little bit skeptical. Once I did the first waterfall, the adrenaline kicked in and I was full on. The team is great and very well managed. You will feel like home there. Communication with Ivana was very helpful. She even organised a car for me to pick me up from Slunj to the starting point. If you don't own a car and still wanna do it, just message Ivana and she will organise it for you.

We stayed in Slunj with one of the staff members. He was a very nice host. In the morning we went on kayaking tour they took really good care of us and made sure everything went safe. There accomodation was really beautiful and was located at the river.
The Mrežnica river is 64 km long, and its upper course, which stretches from Rončević waterfall to the bridge in Tounjski Tržić, will give you the best and most beautiful experience of this beautiful river.
At these 5 km of our stage, waterfalls, tufa pools, quiet parts of the river and even 26 travertine barriers intertwine, and the emerald color of the river further emphasizes the beauty of white rocks.
You can choose between two appointments, morning or afternoon. When you arrive at Discover Mrežnica, you will get all the necessary equipment for kayaking. While you enjoy the view from our terrace, we will explain everything you need to know about safety when kayaking and rafting on Mrežnica.
This is followed by getting to know the boat and oar, practicing rowing in the water, and then your adventure and (kayaking) rafting on Mrežnica begins. Our first stop is at Milković waterfall, which is the highest on Mrežnica with its 8-9 m, and this is an opportunity for you to experience an adrenaline jump from the rocks or just to take a swim. It is interesting because of its indentation and fairy-tale moss-covered tufa. Don’t worry, if you are not a fan of heights and jumps, there is a path on the side that leads you to the foot of the waterfall. Below it, hidden by drops of water, there is a small cave and a natural “slide” carved out of water. You will be enchanted by this untouched nature and a small piece of paradise.
We continue our way to Dvoslap, a canyon where the sun’s rays reach only 20 minutes a day. They say that this place looks like the time has stopped, and the river Mrežnica is a few degrees colder in this part. Two waterfalls are followed by a short break that you can use to swim and enjoy the beauties of Mrežnica.
This is followed by more rowing and enjoying the waterfalls that lead us to the Tržić Bridge, where this adventure of yours ends. There is a shuttle service that takes you back to Discover Mrežnica.
We are located near Rastoke and Plitvice Lakes, so if you decide to spend your vacation here, be sure to put us on your list of activities and make your vacation unforgettable.
About the Mrežnica river
This emerald river springs near Slunj and flows into the Korana near Karlovac. It is 64 km long, and its course is
adorned with 93 travertine barriers and an equal number of waterfalls, some of which are higher than 6 m.
It is a river of canyons and travertine barriers that are characteristic of karst rivers, and create beautiful views over which waterfalls overflow. They occur when rains enriched with carbon dioxide from humus soil dissolve limestone and transfer it to the river where it settles. Another important factor in the formation of tufa is moss, which retains limestone and allows it to settle freely.
In addition to making the Mrežnica river magical, they are responsible for creating another phenomenon, beautiful Rastoke, a place full of mills located only 13 km from us, which are still called “Small Plitvice”
But not only Rastoke is known for its mills, Mrežnica was once adorned with numerous mills along its entire course.
Today, only a few have survived, and the remains of one of them are located next to Discover Mrežnica, called Kikin Mlin and owned by us. It was built in the 1930s, and the road to it was dug by Kika.
Once upon a time, people on donkeys and horses brought their crops there to grind, and the paths they walked are still visible today. There are still local legends about the mills and the roads that led to them, which our experienced guides can tell.
